The Medimpex name has been around for over 60 years and has been identified with the Hungarian pharmaceutical industry and its trade abroad. Medimpex UK Ltd. carries on these traditions not just in its name. We are now 100% owned by Hungary’s largest pharmaceutical manufacturer, Gedeon Richter and we pride ourselves to represent the best traditions in marketing Hungarian pharmaceutical products.

Although no longer a shareholder in Medimpex UK Ltd, we continue to represent EGIS with their products in the UK.

Our company – with its seat in Maida Vale, London – is responsible for marketing and promoting pharmaceutical products in the UK, Republic of Ireland and the Netherlands. Our role extends from seeking Marketing Approvals through finding marketing and distribution partners up to importing the products from Hungary and selling to the customers.

Our small but dedicated team combines the skills of market knowledge in our territories with the in-depth knowledge and contacts in the Hungarian Pharma industry. Gedeon Richter, established in 1901 will soon celebrate its 110th birthday and EGIS has also been around since 1926.

The century-old traditions in the education of chemists in Hungary has been the main resource behind the research and development success of these companies and this gives us the assurance of a continuous flow of new products, giving our team new tasks and further challenges.
